Melissa facilitates the two women’s groups here at Caramara and the Parent and Child group. Her favourite part of the job is making a difference and being the person who listens when most needed. You’ll find Melissa asking what you are having for your dinner or what you are watching on the TV.

Jennifer has a passion for psychology and supporting women, facilitating the two women’s groups here at Caramara. Her favourite part of the job is supporting others at whatever point of their journey they are in. You will find Jennifer chatting about food, wearing colourful shoes and creating colourful content!

David facilitates the men’s group, allotment and our new women’s shed. His favourite part of the job is the groups. No idea is too big, silly or too crazy. You will find David in the basement making stuff, planting in the allotment or creating amazing crafts!

Donna is the Public Living Room Lead, often coming up with creative ideas to have fun and dance, while also facilitating our new Mum’s group and supporting members on a 1-1 basis. The part of her job she loves most is meeting people from all walks of life and having the privilege of listening to their story. You will find Donna losing herself in music and going for walks along the beach.

Gary supports the team practically by helping to set up our groups and encouraging members to take part and get the most out of their community. His favourite part of the job is seeing the positive impact that the groups we run have on members’ lives. You feel like you’re part of something worthwhile. You will find Gary enjoying sports and keeping active, mostly through football with friends, swimming, and exploring the outdoors.

Niamh is responsible for Caramara’s social media and facilitating groups such as the public living room, sound baths, and hand massages. Her favourite part of the role is getting to do something different every day and being creative. She's passionate about supporting people with mental health in any way she can. You will find Niamh spending time with friends, listening to music and playing with her dogs.

Wendell facilitates the Poetry in Motion, the Rainbow Collective, and the Open Mic. His favourite part of the job is helping others and promoting social inclusion, while providing a safe and inclusive space. You will find Wendell hosting the Open Mic Night and having a blether over a cuppa.

You will find Mandy in the Public Living Room on a Monday and Tuesday, our new mum’s group at Wallace town or supporting members on a 1-1 basis. Her favourite part of the job is being able to help and support people in a personal and flexible way. She enjoys building connections and having the opportunity to constantly learn from those she meets. You will find Mandy experimenting with cooking, being outdoors in the sunshine, and exploring new places while making memories with her family.

Carol is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the charity. Her favourite part of the job is working with the team, meeting members of the community and seeing how passionate the team are to support them. You will find Carol chilling with the team, having a laugh and maybe even an occasional joke!

Marion supports the team to do their jobs by supporting others to the best of their abilities. She completes behind-the-scenes tasks such as finance, HR, volunteering co-ordinating, and supports the team to support the community. Her favourite part of the job is working with statistics and using those numbers to create a story of what we do. You will find Marion singing or outdoors in nature!

Sean connects with the community to recognise local needs and secure funding, whilst maintaining day-to-day services. His favourite part of the job is that every day is different and he is always looking for new ways to support the community. You will find Sean cycling along the seafront or spending time with his partner and his two cats.
